So.. curious.. what are the ideas behind this stat? I have cousins (married lesbian couple) that are raising a boy.. is he doomed? He still has strong male role models in his life.. so are these stats for kids that don't have those role models? And why? This just triggered so many thoughts in my brain..

You can’t take statistics compiled over 19.7 million coasts and use them to predict any one individual case. Infinitely too many variables. Some of these statistics when examined closely and by themselves are a little skewed or phrased ambiguously to make them presentable in a startling manner. Many of them have mitigating circumstances around them as well. All in all, if the kid has good parents who love them and prioritize the kid, they’ll be just fine.
