On this episode of Strictly Business with Eric Bischoff, we're discussing the rumblings this week of WWE supposedly talking with state gambling regulators to legalize betting on scripted matches. That's a real sentence, folks! And who better to bring on to discuss than the man who knows the business of sports and gaming better than anyone else - author, reporter: Darren Rovell!

Eric Bischoff is the highlight of the week for me. Between 83 Weeks, After 83 Weeks & Strictly Business, he's always pushing out so much great content every week & I'm thankful for Eric & the AFS crew for bringing it to us!

Great show but, as a uk listener/viewer, it’s strange to hear this being discussed because we have been able to bet on most things, including wwe, for years. For what it’s worth, there is rarely a good bet to be had because the odds are so short, you’d rarely take the risk. For example Lesnar is 1/5 against Omos (3/1). If you had lots and lots of cash available, perhaps those short odds would be more appealing, but the max bet is £500. Is it worth £500 on Lesnar to win £100? Probably not.

Big fan of 83 Weeks and Strictly Business. Enjoy Eric’s unfiltered perspective even when I disagree. The AEW takes are coming across more and more as a grudge/bias/sour grapes rather than critical analysis. It’s constant and every episode. Being critical is absolutely warranted but it’s getting a bit over the top and just noise.
