I’m standing in to discuss my podcast partner at Oh, You Didn’t Know? The Road Dogg Jesse James.

Jeff - let’s get this clear right out of the jump. There’s no heat between you & Brian right now correct?

The Jarretts and the Armstrongs have done business together for how long do you think at this point? 50-60 years?

The Armstrong Family itself - and we cover this in our upcoming Oh You Didn’t Know by the way so be sure to check it out on all platforms and YouTube - has such a long wrestling history. Between Bullet Bob, Steve, Brad, & Scott…you have to have some amazing memories and stories of them all do you not?

Do you remember meeting Brian before he got in the business?

He would work for a small amount of time before going into the Marine Corps - takes a special type of person to enter the marines does it not?

Dogg would return and get to work in WCW and small territories as he would get back into ring shape. What did you think of his early work as you could tell he had charisma for days did he not?

Did you ever get to wrestle Dogg in USWA or anywhere before you got into the WWF in 1993?

What are your favorite memories of being on the road with Dogg at that point in time?

We both know your struggles with addiction…but you guys have to have some great stories right?

Did Brian ever come to you for advice as he was getting experience under his belt?

Let’s talk about the Armstrongs real quick - what can you tell us about Brad, Steve & Scott? Brad is always talked about how good a worker he was - you have to have agreed right?

Any fun memories with those 3?

When was the official hitting off period for you & Dogg? Sitting in the back of a car on the road with a 6-pack type thing?

Brian has discussed his getting hired by the WWF as your Roadie on our show - but the combination of you & Brian I think is one of the more underrated combinations in WWF history - were you excited to have Brian come on board?

When you two walked out on Vince - you’ve talked about the soon to be failed test on Brian - was that the first time you realized Brian may have an issue with demons?

How close were you & Brian at this time?

Was there any issues between you two at any point in time regarding this?

If you haven’t already - be sure to check out the episode of USWA vs. Smoky Mountain where Jeff and Brian are the top two acts in that feud as it’s one of my favorites - Jeff when you’re able to work with Brian night after night like you did - he never is remembered for his matches - but he could go when he wanted to couldn’t he?

Dogg has joked he’s not a 5 star guy but a 2 ½ star guy…but you don’t have to be the flashy high spots or the best chain wrestler to be a good worker right?

Did you have any hard feelings with Brian when he returned to the WWF as the “Real Double J” or was it just business?

Have you had any falling outs with Brian over the years?

Did you keep in touch with him during your times when you weren’t in the same company together?

Was Brian excited for you to return to the WWF in 1997?

I’m sure Karen wouldn’t want to hear this…but what are some of the bad stories from you guys/

There’s a lot more to cover and you & Conrad I’m sure you guys will cover more in the coming weeks and months. But I have to finish with this…how special is Brian to you?
