Casio is so hilarious. Love him as a host. Constructive criticism: this episode should have been titled “A Critique of Dave Meltzer’s reporting of Scott Hall’s 1998”. Way too many non sequiturs about Meltzer, it made me lose my place in Scott Hall’s career. I don’t care for Meltzer, I get it, he’s a pompous body-shaming troll, especially during this era… but I’d rather get a picture of the subject at hand re: Hall, than hear the same (valid) critiques of Dave Meltzer as a “journalist”. Maybe play a clip or two, to jog Eric’s memory. I don’t remember that Dusty promo either, would have loved to hear it and gotten Eric’s take. The occasional Eric/Meltzer rant is classic, but I think we got like 5 this time around. The Observer may be getting in the way. Just my two cents.
