83 Weeks – Randy Savage’s 96-97. As we continue our look back at WCW 25 years ago we’ll be discussing Randy Savage’s 1996 and 97. Elizabeth coming into WCW, Savage trading the WCW title back and forth with Flair, Randy’s contact negotiations, being a major part of the WCW vs. nWo launch, putting Savage with Sting until he joins the nWo, the DDP feud, and the original dissension between Eric & Randy on TV!

My World – nWo 2000. The formation of the 2000 version of the New World Order. The build to it – Vince Russo’s plan – WCW in 1999 to 2000. Jeff’s concussion, the Harris Brothers, Bret Hart’s injury, Russo being reassigned, wrestling Terry Funk, George Steele, Tito Santana & Jimmy Snuka, plus all the turmoil of WCW just months after his arrival!

DDP Snake Pit – Ricky Steamboat & Johnny B. Badd. Dallas & Jake will be discussing Ricky Steamboat and Johnny B. Badd/Marc Mero during their runs in WCW and the WWF. The infamous Saturday Night’s Main Event, Steamboat’s return to WCW, plus Johnny B. Badd and the Diamond Doll, and the Wild Thing in the WWF with Sable!

To Be the Man – Flair vs. Steamboat. The classic WrestleWar 89 NWA Title match between Steamer & Flair will be a watchalong. The infamous Music City Showdown goes over 30 minutes, the culmination of 3 of the best wrestling matches in history…and then Terry Funk asks for a NWA Title shot.

Grilling JR – Judgment Day 2002. Our 20 year look back continues as the new WWE rebrands itself. Undertaker vs. Hulk Hogan is the main event for the WWE Title, Hogan not being able to start Taker’s motorcycle, Hogan gets dragged, Jericho vs. Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match, Steve Austin’s middling creative continues against the nWo, Big Show turns heel…again, Ric Flair turns heel…again. Plus, Flair and Hogan wrestle on Raw in a World Title match in 2002, Booker T joins the New World Order, Eddie vs. RVD and Randy Orton makes his debut. Also Lou Thesz and Davey Boy Smith pass away.

Oh You Didn’t Know? – The Roadie’s Debut. We’ll be discussing Brian James debuting with the World Wrestling Federation – the birth of the Roadie. How he was put in touch with the WWF, being paired with Jeff, and all the stories of becoming “The Roadie.”

Something to Wrestle – TNA 2017. Bruce’s last run with TNA – all of 6 months. How did it come to be, why it ended, being on screen again and then Jim Cornette fires him.

The Angle Show – Judgment Day 2002. Kurt and Edge continue against each other and it’s going to lead to a Hair vs. Hair match. Why was Kurt OK getting his hair shaved, how did he feel the match went, and the build up to it!

My World: Was it a mistake to capitalize on the Brand Equity and Brand name of the nWo by having all of these breakaway factions instead of simply introducing original concepts ideas and factions?

My World: is there anything Jeff would have change about the nWo 2000 angle had he been overseeing the creative process? Did Jeff learn anything from the nWo angle he took with him into the booking philosophy of TNA/Impact?
