For what it's worth, I think Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin could've been a better tag team if they used a different name. The Freebirds will always only be Hayes, Gordy and Roberts. They each complimented each other perfectly and the chemistry was perfect. Garvin and Hayws could've been amazing if they didn't use that name and create expectations you can't live up to. It's the better than, less than or different than thing. They weren't gonna be better than and didn't try to be different than and wound up less than by default.
