With Jim Cornette’s “shoot” rants which were popular and Jeff Jarrett’s infamous Austin 3:16 “shoot” not so, does it feel like Russo and perhaps the company relied too much on these style promos to try and get characters and storylines over?

Jim, listening to your old "Wrestling with Jim Ross" on WSB here on AFS, you have always been a supporter of young and new in the wrestling business, but still you were able to honor and acknowledge the past. With that said, if you were still in WCW and had Tony's job of getting this match over, how would you do it without acknowledging the WWF history here, or would you talk WM 1?
