The program begins with the famous scene in the parking lot of Jim Crockett Promotions where the Four Horsemen and JJ Dillon follow Dusty Rhodes and attack him; breaking his arm. Once the show begins, the announcement is made of Magnum T.A.'s tragic accident.  The program tries to put a positive spin on it, but much is still unknown at that time. And the show itself is loaded. It includes, The Road Warriors making their challenge to Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express for a scaffold match at Starrcade, and Nikita Koloff coming to the ring, turning babyface, and helping Dusty in a very emotional angle.

It's all here, the tragedy, the angles and the emotion as we head to Starrcade '86!

I wasn’t watching World Championship Wrestling at this time, so while Magnum’s accident was certainly tragic, the fact he hadn’t been announced as Flair’s opponent for Starrcade probably saved some hassle. And I’m not so sure Magnum would have won the first time out. I think the money was in the chase, and they could have stretched that to GAB, and win it there.
