To provide some context for everyone wondering what is going on as we open the show with Steve Austin entering his locker room … and before anything else let’s point out Taz standing on a couch in the background so he can be seen … we are one night removed from you & Steve Austin facing off for the WWF World Title and he retained the WWF World Title with the help of Nick Patrick. We’re getting Steve Austin Appreciation Night tonight Kurt and I’m sure you’re as excited as the Alliance members are here.

As the Raw intro hits Kurt...the world is about to change in less than a month with 9/11 happening. How much did everything change...life...travel...wrestling plans?

We open with Team WWF, Lita, Jackie and Molly Holly versus Team Alliance: Torrie Wilson, Stacy Kiebler, and Ivory. To put it nicely this is not a good match. Did you ever go out of your way to help or recommend things to some of the women? Any fun stories about any of these women?

Jackie pins Ivory with a tornado DDT. Only Stacy Kiebler out of this group is not in the WWE Hall of Fame. Do you think that’s because she left behind wrestling when she started to gain some mainstream success with Dancing with the Stars?

Test & Stephanie McMahon are now friends since they’re both part of the Invasion and you know...that whole marriage thing the year before. Why do you think Test never connected with the audience in a big way?

Test is sent out to take out Chris Jericho now.

The Rock is out for a 15-minute promo...and it’s the Booker T midget promo! Did you find this type of creative entertaining because it’s the Rock and he can make anything work?

Lance Storm interrupts and a match is made for later tonight but not before he superkicks the midget. Are you watching this during the show worried that tonight you’re going to be part of a major interview segment and here’s another one or does that not bother you at all?

Scotty 2 Hotty, APA, Billy Gunn, Big Show & Spike Dudley defeated the Dudleyz, Hugh Morrus, Tommy Dreamer, Chuck Palumbo & Sean O’Haire. This is just a lot of talent pushed into one match to fill time but there’s some guys in here that were big stars including Big Show & the Dudleyz. There was a lot of hope that Sean O’Haire and Chuck Palumbo would be some of the young stars that would blossom in WWF compared to WCW. Did you ever get a chance to work with them and why do you think they didn’t make it?

Big Show gets the pin over Tommy Dreamer. Did you ever work with Dreamer and what are your favorite Tommy Dreamer stories?

Gregory Helms does a promo where he switches his personal hero from the Green Lantern to Steve Austin. Was Helms one of the few who came over from WCW that got it and figured out how to be successful in the WWF?

Test comes out to face Chris Jericho and he gets the win in a very short amount of time. These matches are super short compared to a lot of the Raws that were happening in this time period. Was that probably because the two main interview segments took up almost 30 minutes?

Shawn Stasiak does another Steve Austin promo...well at least tries to before the director gives up...I know nothing airs without it being checked but this just makes the guy look dumb. Would you ever let yourself be put in this type of position?

Mick Foley is at the WWF New York and just cuts a generic promo. Was Mick wasted in this time period in your opinion? Is it just too much talent with not enough TV time?

The Rock and Lance Storm for the WCW Title ends in 3:09 and is really a total squash. Did you ever get a chance to work with Lance at this time and do you think he could’ve been something more?

Little Booker comes out and trips over Lance Storm when he tries to do a People’s Elbow but does it and hits a Spinarooni. This is entertaining to Vince I’m sure...what say you?

The kidnapping of Moppy is covered. Man Kurt no wonder everyone remembers Milk-A-Mania as this is just not the best Raw. If this wasn’t the best segment to ever save a show it’ll be hard pressed to find it.

Matt Hardy vs. Christian for the European title is next. Christian cuts a promo before hand burying Chris Webber and the Sacramento Kings. Did you enjoy doing local promos like this to get heat and do you think it fits to a national TV audience?

Matt Hardy gets the win in another short match.

In the back now DDP does a creepy interview in prep for his match against the Undertaker’s wife Sara tonight. The night before at SummerSlam Undertaker & Kane beat Kanyon & DDP to become double WCW & WWF Tag Team Champions in a cage match. Did DDP ever talk to you about how he was being booked and treated in the WWF?

Booker finally arrives at the building...a little late wouldn’t you say Kurt?...and everyone laughs at him because of the midget.

Tazz gives a tribute to Steve Austin. Looking back after the way Tazz was booked after he debuted defeating you and ending your unbeaten streak do you think Tazz ever got a fair shake?

Booker rushes into Regal’s office and demands his WCW World Title rematch against the Rock but because he’s gone he doesn’t know that the Rock already defended the title. Regal & Tajiri both laugh at Booker and Booker demands a match against Tajiri.

There were a lot of little people used during this time in the WWF’s creative…was there ever a Mini Angle pitched to you?

Tajiri gets the win via DQ in a little under 3 minutes when Booker goes nuts and the ref stops it. The attempt to make Booker into a bad ass heel is good but with the comedy of the Rock it makes it difficult don’t you think?

So here comes a doozy and it’s our technical main event. Undertaker and Sara come out and Sara is scheduled to face DDP one-on-one. Sara slaps DDP...DDP pushes Sara...and Taker pulls him out of the ring and chokeslams him on the floor and puts him back inside and Sara gets the pin in 6 seconds. Is this one of the most blatant burials on WWF TV you could ever see?

Kurt...as this segment gets started for yourself...this goes 23 minutes! While this all goes on tell us about who came up with the idea for the milk truck?

Was there a run through before hand?

Were you worried about the truck and it coming out?

This is the only thing you had to do on the show. Were you banged up coming out of the SummerSlam match with Steve?

Were you nervous at all about any of this?

Paul Heyman kisses Steve’s ass. Then Shane Helms gives up his Green Lantern t-shirt for an Austin shirt. Kanyon shows off a “Who’s Better Than Steve Austin” shirt. Debra gives him some cookies...seriously Kurt how bad were her cookies?

Then we have a video tribute and STEPHANIE SINGING “WIND BENEATH OUR RING.” Kurt are you sitting backstage at this point waiting for your cue knowing your pop is going to be super loud because of how bad this is?

Austin finally grabs the mic and here you come Kurt. Milk being thrown. Milk being sprayed. Shawn Stasiak runs into the truck knocking himself out which is really the funniest part of all of this.

How much did you enjoy this segment and angle Kurt?

Are you instructed not to spray anything or anyone? I mean there’s a ton of equipment around the ring and obviously the fans at ringside.

Jim Ross’ call on this is also amazing. How good was JR?

The final part of the show is you on top of the truck with a double toast of milk! How great is this ending!

You once said in an interview that you wore those clothes on the plane home...is that true?

Was there a backup plan in case the hose didn’t work or it was all or nothing?
