CONRAD: Vince McMahon...the boss...purchases WCW and one of the first things he does is make out with Torrie Wilson. It’s good to be the king isn’t it?

CONRAD: What is it like to shoot these promos with Vince, Steve, Torrie? Did you enjoy them? How scripted were these promos?

CONRAD: The show opens with Spike Dudley & Chris Jericho facing off against the Dudley Boyz - Buh Buh Ray & D-Von for the WWF Tag Team Titles. Any funny stories of working with any of these guys?

CONRAD: This episode is just two weeks after your King of the Ring match with Shane McMahon that we just covered a few weeks ago. Was the point of doing these vignettes with Steve & Vince because you were both banged up and necessary to be on the show without wrestling?

CONRAD: Kurt this taping of SmackDown comes one day after the infamous Tacoma Raw where Buff Bagwell & Booker T main evented Raw and it was a disaster. Do you remember the feeling of the locker room coming off that show?

***Spike suffers a hairline fracture on the blocked Dudley Dog right before the finish if you want to bring it up.***

CONRAD: Kurt here comes the promo of why we’re here and watching this show! There’s Vince in his hawaian shirt...and Debra walks in with boxes. Vince is in trouble for getting caught with his pants down with Torrie Wilson by Linda McMahon. Austin has a gift for Vince. Vince & Steve open up these gift boxes and it’s matching cowboy hats. The interplay when you come in between you & Steve is just tremendous. You open your gift up...and it’s a little hat you got just right up there behind you! Is that the same one still?

Who’s idea is it for this set of promos throughout the night?

Where did you get the hats?

Were you all scripted or ab libbing here?

CONRAD: Here’s a backstage vignette of the WCW & WWF referees getting into it and this leads us to Miss Jackie vs. Crash Holly. Kurt did you ever enjoy working with women in the ring?

Jackie busts Crash open the hard way! Any memories of Jackie around this time?

How about Crash?

Think you’d ever have any objections to putting a woman over like this?

You have Jackie beating Crash, here’s Trish flirting with Jeff Hardy while Lita and Matt are wondering what’s going on...What did you think of the way women are projected here?

We look back here at the one and only match of Buff Bagwell on a WWF live shoot and you & Steve throwing him out of the arena.

Kurt you let the guy in to serve Vince with a divorce summons that actually doesn’t end up going anywhere. Any idea who that guy was?

Billy Kidman faces off with Gregory Helms for the WCW Cruiserweight Title with Arn Anderson & Scott Hudson doing commentary. Any fun memories of Kidman & Helms?

This is the first time Helms is called Gregory Helms because they changed it from Shane Helms.

Did you see a difference in the work between the WCW wrestlers and WWF wrestlers?

Backstage again and it’s you, Vince, Steve & Debra again. It looks like Steve is having a hard time keeping a straight face. Were you having the same issue? Did you really do the boy scouts?

Edge & Christian are backstage. Did you miss working with these guys after spending a bunch of time with them in the spring?

Vince comes out in a cowboy hat to cut one of the most ridiculous promos of all time. There you are with Steve watching the promo...where Vince talks about how he is a sexual dynamo. Here comes all of a sudden William Regal & Tajiri. Kurt is Tajiri one of the most underrated guys ever? He was great in this role and was an amazing wrestler. Any memories of Tajiri in the ring?

Regal tells Vince to stop apologizing for himself and gives him a hug and they cut to the back and you & Steve’s reaction is priceless!

Next up we got Big Show & Billy Gunn vs. the Hardys. Show & Gunn get the win. While this goes on Kurt let me ask you this. You’ve been in the ring with all 4 guys...who did you have the most fun with?

Backstage again with you, Vince, Steve, Debra and now we have Tajiri & Regal. Vince says he’s going to go out and celebrate the fact that he’s Vince McMahon and he’s going to head to a nudie establishment...with Tajiri. They leave...and well let’s just bring up the audio.

Is this one of your favorite episodes to tape with all these backstage segments?

How long do you think you spent this day taping these segments?

Here comes Albert...Matt Bloom as he’s known now...the Intercontinental Champion taking on Edge who just recently won King of the Ring. Albert wins after hitting a low blow and hitting the Baldo Bomb. During your most recent time in the WWE did you spend any time at NXT to see what Bloom was doing down there?

Backstage again and you & Austin go to rally the troops to cut the head off the snake of WCW...Booker T...and well let’s play the audio.

Look it’s all fun...it’s all entertaining...but did you have any issue with the creative and these promos making you come off...kind of dork-ish? I mean you’re an Olympic Gold Medalist...you’re coming off one of the most bad ass matches in WWF history with Shane McMahon...and now you’re wearing a cowboy hat and coming off this way...did you take any umbridge with it?

Scotty 2 Hotty is taking on Dean Malenko who has Terri, Saturn...and Moppy with him. These two are two of the best workers. Did you ever get a chance to get in the ring with Dean?

Was Dean ever your agent in the WWF and what did you think of his knowledge of the business?

Saturn attempts to hit the worm on Malenko and Scotty is able to take advantage and get the win with the Worm. Did you ever lose to the Worm?

DDP cuts a backstage promo about the Undertaker and his match against Booker T coming up next. Have you ever done DDP Yoga?

Here’s the main event Kurt...the last “WCW match” in the WWF as the very next Raw ECW joins WCW in the Invasion and the Alliance is born. It’s DDP vs Booker T for the WCW World Title but first we have a promo for the first season of Tough Enough. Were you watching the show while on the road or did you not have the chance?

Now our last backstage segment with you & Steve where Steve hypes you up to go after Booker T but you leave the hat with him.

There’s a weird edit here Kurt where DDP misses a clothesline but then all of a sudden is bouncing off the ropes and Booker hits him with an elbow. Did you have a different mindset working SmackDown vs. Raw knowing SmackDown was taped?

Did you ever get a chance to have a match with DDP?

Did you ever do a Spinaroonie?

DDP loses when Undertaker distracts him and Booker rolls him up for the win. Taker chases DDP to the back and here you come to go after Booker. Booker gets out of the Olympic Slam and hits you with an Axe Kick. It looks like he kills you with the title belt here. Everything all good through all this?

Back again and Taker gets jumped by the WCW guys but somehow he’s fighting off like 8 of them and barely sells for them until Mike Awesome hits him. This is such weird TV because Shane stops DDP...then DDP beats up Shane...then Booker T stops him but WCW beats up Booker T and that’s the end of the show.

What did you think of the show Kurt?
