We're looking into potentially starting a new series here on AFS that would uncover some of the many connections and similarities between pro wrestling and another popular subculture...Reality TV. 

We all know about The Miz and his start on Reality TV, but what about Luchasaurus on Big Brother? John Morrison on Survivor. Lio Rush, CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler on The Challenge. You've got shows like Legends House, Tough Enough, Hogan Knows Best...the list goes on. And what about all those classic wrestling-themed game show episodes of Family Feud, Double Dare, Weakest Link, etc.?

So, today we are sharing a recent episode of the Challenge Mania Podcast with Scott Yager and Derrick Kosinski featuring LIO RUSH. Scott & Derrick, and particularly Scott, are big wrestling fans, in addition to hosting the #1 podcast covering MTV's The Challenge & other Reality TV. Derrick also happens to be a 3x Challenge champ in his own right! 

We hope you enjoy it, whether you have seen The Challenge or not. The final Wrestling With Reality product would be somewhat broader than this, and will cater more to die-hard wrestling fans (that's you!). But this podcast should hopefully spark your interest and give you an idea of the potential. We'd love to get your constructive feedback on the concept!
