Taylor really needs to learn how to speak into a microphone. I’m not being an asshole or sarcastic, he doesn’t know how to use one correctly. I realize he’s in a career where he uses a mic all of the time however this medium is different than being on stage with a live audience. The severe and sudden change in volume when he laughs (and other times) is legitimately jarring. It seems as though he doesn’t maintain a consistent distance from the mic or something like that. Haven’t watched the videos yet, perhaps it shows on them. All I know is that, for me, it makes for a very unpleasant listening experience. I usually do not finish the episode. It’s a big bummer because I love Gerald.

Given this a few tries now but I really can’t get into it. I get that they are friends and like to have a bit of banter but it’s far too much and hardly any questions get answered. Could also do without Taylor commenting on the names of each person who asks a question. It’s tiresome.
