This episode of Nitro was known as the funeral for Ric Flair, but it was also a funeral for WCW.  The promotion was certainly a "Coffin on Roller Skates" at this point in its history.

Actually, it was chocked full of WCW stars, but there was just TOO MUCH GOING ON.  You needed a scorecard and Ritalin just to keep up with everything.  From a lovers spat between Billy Kidman and Torrie, to Booker T. getting fired, to the funeral, to the Norman and Ralphus car wash, to Terry Funk's non-announcement, to Kanyon's injury...whew!

Were there matches scheduled?  Uh, we think so.  Hogan, Scott Steiner, Vampiro, Kevin Nash and Jeff Jarrett and more were scheduled to be in action.  Did they actually have matches?  We can't remember. Enjoy some of the bitter end of WCW:  Nitro May 22, 2000!
