Judgement Day 2000

Judgment Day 2000 took place on May 21st from the Freedom Hall, in Louisville, Kentucky.  It drew 16,827 & it did about 400,000 buys for around a 1.05 buy rate

We're coming off of the Backlash pay per view, where we saw The Rock win the World Title from Triple H, and we're going to see a rematch here at Judgement Day, but it's going to be a 60 minute Iron Man match

This was the first time that the World Title was defended on a pay per view in an Iron Man match since WrestleMania 12 in 1996, when Shawn Michaels won his first World Title by defeating Bret Hart, in overtime to win 1 falls to 0. Speaking of Shawn, he is going to be the special referee for this Iron Man match at Judgment Day.

Talk about the decision to have Rock vs HHH in an Iron Man match here and why do you think we hadn't seen one on ppv for 4 years leading into this match?

Random question, we mentioned how Shawn beat Bret at WrestleMania 12 in an Iron Man match, and we know about their feud. But, Rock vs HHH had a great feud, which really elevated both guys, especially in the summer of 1998. However, their feud doesn't get talked about very often anymore. How would you compare the Bret/Shawn feud to the Rock/HHH feud?

Let's get to some company news heading into Judgement Day

Meltzer reported - The bill in New York written by State Senator Tom Libous of Binghamton, which would require state mandated drug testing of all pro wrestlers that work in New York, if it passes, would without question wind up in some form or fashion completely changing the pro wrestling industry as we know it.

Whether that's good or bad depends upon your point of view. There are a few things clear about pro wrestling. Even if some promoters can argue that they can regulate their own companies, the fact is, this business is largely a total failure at regulating itself. Between the drugs which have led to a death rate which would cause a media outcry if it was in a real sport or entertainment form of anywhere near the same level of popularity, much of which is practically institutionalized as part of the major league system, the false advertising and presenting adult situations as entertainment while selling tickets and marketing to children, pro wrestling has come under fire.

Even companies that argue they do regulate themselves will admit that their competitors do a poor job. And have the plethora of deaths led to any major changes in the industry that would prevent similar situations, or even lesser the rate, or similar situations happening in the future?

The fine is hefty, but affordable by WWF and WCW if problems are rare, but the loss of talent, as well as dollars, would add up swiftly if the companies aren't clean. They aren't affordable for anyone else. Clearly there are things that need to be worked out, otherwise independents are going to be at great risk in promoting shows and as this is structured, held at risk for things they really shouldn't be held at risk for. Unlike the wrestlers for the national companies that work almost exclusively for those companies and are their full-time employers, independent wrestlers generally have regular jobs, except for the big names, who work for people a day here and there and there is little economic gain for independent wrestlers to use steroids except in their quest to get jobs with the big companies.

WWF officials as well as officials of the local USWF are scheduled to meet this week or next with representatives of Libous' office to offer input, at this stage of the game. WCW and ECW at this point have ignored the issue.

On May 6th, in the United Kingdom, the WWF ran the Insurrextion pay per view. It drew 17,000 paying $684,264 U.S. at Earl's Court in London

Too Cool defeated Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn in 7:00. They did the storyline where Malenko and Saturn weren't getting along. Grandmaster Sexay pinned Saturn after a legdrop off the top rope, and after the match Malenko and Saturn brawled. **1/4

Vince McMahon did an interview, guaranteeing a member of his family would win the WWF title by the end of the night (which led to interviews throughout the show with HHH and Shane McMahon both arguing over which family member he was talking about). He made a point to say that Steve Austin, Earl Hebner and Linda McMahon weren't there to save Rock.

Kane pinned Bull Buchanan after a choke slam in 3:31. 1/2*

Road Dogg pinned Bradshaw in 5:58 after a lousy looking pump handle slam. Dogg worked the match as if he was the face. X-Pac wasn't there, so they did a singles match. Faarooq helped out early doing a double-team until the referee gave him a red card (soccer terminology for getting thrown out of the game) and he was forced to leave. *1/4

Kat beat Terri in an arm-wrestling match with Terri playing heel. Mae Young threw water in Terri's face after Terri had been cheating all along. Terri undid the string in Kat's bikini top and one side of the building got a few second glimpse of her breasts. On TV, there may have been a momentary look if you watched it on a tape with freeze frame.

Big Show as Showkishi & Rikishi Phatu beat Dudleys in 7:10 when Edge & Christian did a run-in and Edge speared Buh Buh and Show choke slammed him for the pin. After the match, to make sure everyone knows they are all faces, all four as well as Too Cool danced, with it ending with Buh Buh doing a solo. *

Kurt Angle pinned Chris Benoit in 6:04 after an Olympic slam after Benoit missed a diving head-butt. Angle worked hard to play heel but the crowd, because of what they see on TV, wasn't really into Benoit as a babyface. Benoit's right eye was swollen almost completely shut as he apparently suffered a broken cheekbone in his match on Smackdown where he lost the title.

Crash Holly was doing commentary and complained that nobody in England had the guts for him to wrestle and challenged anyone from the country. ***

Davey Boy Smith as an unannounced surprise, won the hardcore title from Holly  in 3:37 after a powerslam. Smith got a very disappointing reaction. Most reports were shocked that his reaction was no different than any undercard wrestler despite them building the anticipation with Crash making the challenge. The feeling is that they killed him as a megastar in England with the heel turn being done in England. 3/4*

Matt & Jeff Hardy beat WWF tag champs Edge & Christian in 12:53. A lot of good moves, but said not to be at the level of their American PPV matches. Finish saw Jeff use the swanton on Christian but Edge hit him with the ring bell for the DQ. After the match the Dudleys came out and put Edge through a table. ***

Eddy Guerrero retained the European title over Chris Jericho in 12:56. They did a coin toss before the match to determine whether the European or IC title would be at stake. They wrestled a very good match with the finish being Jericho doing a springboard dropkick onto Chyna, who was on the apron. Guerrero then hit Jericho with the title belt for the pin. ***

Rock retained the WWF title over Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Shane McMahon in 14:47. This was your typical PPV main event storyline. At one point Shane did a Muto like moonsault off the top but landed on his feet. Most of the match saw them double-team Rock, until HHH had a chance to win and Shane pulled him off, at which point they went after each other. Rock DDT'd both guys but Stephanie distracted the first ref. Soon thereafter was a ref bump.

Vince tripped Rock, who turned around and grabbed him by the hair and HHH hit him with a belt shot, but no ref to count the fall.

Finally Gerald Brisco ran out. When Rock moved, Shane hit HHH with a belt shot. Vince ran in the ring with a chair but Rock stopped him. HHH gave Rock a low blow and pedigree, but Rock kicked out. HHH blamed it on Brisco, so he punched Brisco and gave Rock a second pedigree. Vince grabbed the ref shirt off Brisco's back and put it on and went for the pin.

At this point Hebner pulled Vince out of the ring. Vince tried to punch Hebner, who moved, and Vince punched the post. HHH was on the top, but Shane, as he was climbing in, accidentally touched the top which shook the ropes and HHH crotched himself. Rock then gave Rock a Rock bottom and then gave Shane one, and pinned Shane after a people's elbow with Hebner making the count. ***

How did you like doing the UK ppvs? Was everything run the same as they were for ppvs in the States?

Any stories/ribs you can remember from these trips?

Meltzer reported - Media Week had a story on 5/1 about the prospects of the USA Network if they lose the WWF contract in court next month. The basis of the article is that even if USA loses the WWF, it won't impact their advertising at all. Most agencies that buy on cable subtract the wrestling ratings from the network average to start with. While losing WWF could threaten USA as the highest rated network when it comes to prime time programming, advertisers buying the network don't seem to care for two reasons.

First is that WWF owned 80 percent of the ad inventory on their programs to begin with, so USA actually sold very little advertising itself on the shows. Second is that USA's advertisers don't target the young male demographic, which are the advertisers the WWF lures.

It is believed that the sides will have a settlement meeting about two weeks before it goes to court, so if USA is just looking for a payoff, that may be where it ends. In order to get FCC approval of the CBS/Viacom merger, apparently they agreed to sell UPN within 12 months of the merger date, which was 5/4. CBS is still hoping that at a later date they'll be able to lobby the FCC to change their minds about forcing the sale of UPN.

Not sure how that affects the wrestling deal because UPN only owns the rights to Smackdown until September 2001, so if the CBS deal goes through, they'll either have to put the Smackdown show on CBS, have it moved from a broadcast network to a much weaker cable station, or drop the show (which at this point given that the show is a hit would be the least likely of the three) at that point

Meltzer reported-  WWF is sending Essa Rios, D-Lo Browna and Bob Holly to San Antonio for future TWA shows. When the TWA started, WWF was sending talent almost every week, but the talent complained about how they were treated and it resulted in no more talent being sent. Of late, TWA crowd have picked up markedly through appearances by Justin Credible and Sandman from ECW, with probably the biggest crowd (in the range of 1,000) being drawn when Shawn Michaels wrestled his last match

TWA was Shawn Michaels' promotion. What's your memories of him running that? He also ran a wrestling school at the time, where he trained Daniel Bryan and Lance Cade

Meltzer reported - WWF met with NCAA heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar again on 5/11. Lesnar has already started training with Brad Rheingans in Minnesota and people are raving about his quickness in the ring for a guy of his size. Verne Gagne showed up at at least one of his workouts. Word is that athletically and looks-wise he's got it but the personality is a question mark. Right now it appears WWF is the favorite, since they've already got his assistant coach in college, Shelton Benjamin, training in Louisville, where he'd be starting, and are also interested in another wrestler from the University of Minnesota team. New Japan is also in the hunt.

WCW has met with him as well but appear to be the extreme darkhorses

Did you know at the time that Brock met with WCW? Who'd he talk to there?

That takes us to the Judgment Day pay per view

Rikishi Phatu & Too Cool defeated Edge & Christian & Kurt Angle in 9:46. Edge & Christian & Angle mocked the local fans by coming out with hats and banjos and wearing fake bad teeth. They did some 70s tag team spots early. GMS had his pants fall down and he was dancing in his underwear (they do that spot regularly on the road now). Rikishi did a no sell spot off a double DDT, but did sell Edge's spear. Edge teased doing the worm on Rikishi but Scotty stopped him with a facebuster and did the worm himself.

Christian then hit Rikishi with the ring bell and put Edge on top, but GMS came off the top rope with a hip hop drop (legdrop off the top) onto Edge and Rikishi rolled over for the pin. It was very strange because Edge clearly kicked out and everyone seemed unhappy the three went down. **1/4

Eddy Guerrero retained the European title beating Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko  in 7:57. This was a very good wrestling match but had the weakest heat on the show. After the fact the belief was because they had three heels so there was nobody anyone wanted to cheer for. The crowd doesn't know how to react to Saturn and Malenko only gets over with his wrestling when he's given time to make people care like on the last PPV. Guerrero looked tremendous. Saturn did a nice overhead belly-to-belly on Guerrero.

Malenko reversed a superplex by Saturn. Malenko did a super stomach block on Guerrero. Saturn used a piledriver on Guerrero for a near fall and put the cloverleaf on Malenko. Guerrero then gave Saturn a brainbuster for a near fall.

They did a cool double back suplex spot (Saturn suplexed Malenko who at the same time was suplexing Guerrero). Finish saw Chyna hit Saturn with the loaded roses. She tried to do the same to Malenko, but he blocked her and the loaded flowers fell to the mat. Chyna then tripped Malenko and he fell on the flowers and Guerrero pinned him. ***1/4

The next match was Big Show vs Shane McMahon in a falls count anywhere match

Heading into WrestleMania Shane had actually aligned himself with Big Show, who at the time was feuding with The Rock over the finish to January's Royal Rumble. Shane interfered in their match at No Way Out in February and helped Big Show win, which earned Show the #1 contender and a match with Triple H, who had won back the WWF Championship Big Show had beat him for at Survivor Series 99

For WrestleMania 2000, The match eventually grew to include The Rock and Mick Foley, and Big Show was the first wrestler eliminated from the ensuing elimination fatal-four-way main event.

After WrestleMania, Big Show began a brief period where he would imitate other wrestlers in a comedic role. This earned him ridicule from Shane, so the two began a rivalry that led to a match here at Judgment Day.

Shane McMahon pinned Big Show in a falls count anywhere match at 7:12. McMahon did a running dive over the top but Show caught him and ran his back into the post. He gave the boss the world's easiest slam on the ring steps. Big Bossman ran in quickly using the night stick to the knee but Show laid him out. Test and Albert were in next but he was cleaning house on them until Trish Stratus hit him with a low blow. He actually no sold the spot and threw her over the top rope where Test and Albert caught her.

He brawled to the back with McMahon and threw him into the steel grating. they got tired. Test & Albert threw Show into the grating and Bull Buchanan ran out and destroyed Show with the night stick. With Show down, Shane pushed a heavy amplifier onto his knee to do the injury angle. Show sold it big and was caught under the amplifier. Shane then brought out a cinderblock and broke it on Show's head and scored the pin. *

Big Show had been taken off house shows for several weeks due to his torn meniscus and the plan all along was to do a knee injury angle at the hands of Shane McMahon to explain the surgery. He's expected to have the knee scoped later in the week and they are hopeful he may be able to return for the next PPV, which is King of the Ring on 6/25 in Boston.

The next match was for the Intercontinental Title; Chris Benoit defending against Chris Jericho

At WrestleMania 2000, Jericho, Benoit & Kurt Angle faced each other in a two fall triple threat match for both Angle's Intercontinental & European titles. Benoit won the IC title after pinning Jericho but Jericho would win the European Title after pinning Benoit.

Jericho lost the European Championship to Eddie Guerrero the following night on Raw, when Chyna turned on Jericho for Guerrero.

Benoit defended the Intercontinental title against Jericho at Backlash where Benoit won by DQ after Jericho used the title belt to hit Benoit with when he did the diving headbutt and was DQ'ed. Benoit and Jericho had a rematch for the title on the May 4th Smackdown, where Jericho won after hitting Benoit with the title belt then hitting him with the Lionsault while ref Earl Hebner was thrown out of the ring by Benoit.

After helping The Rock, confronting and insulting the McMahon-Helmsley Faction, Jericho lost the IC title back to Benoit after special guest referee Triple H purposely got distracted by his wife Stephanie McMahon, while Benoit tapped out to the Walls of Jericho. Jericho hit HHH to get his attention, so Triple H hit Jericho from behind causing Jericho to be locked in the crippler crossface before Triple H called for the bell and awarded the title to Benoit despite Jericho not submitting

Chris Benoit retained the IC title beating Chris Jericho in the submission match when they did the passing out due to the pain finish in 13:27. They showed Holly destroying Benoit's knee and Benoit didn't sell the knee the entire match but was wearing a knee brace. A tremendous match with very hard blows and great submissions throughout. They showed both Val Venis and Bob Holly watching the match. Jericho took Benoit's brace off and hit the quebrada and walls of Jericho. Benoit came back with a rolling german suplex.

Jericho went for the walls again and this time Benoit after the break hit Jericho with the kneebrace and put on the cross face. Jericho made the ropes, but Benoit got the hold on him a second time in the middle of the ring and passed out. Jericho's hair being in his face so you couldn't see his eyes shut ruined the effect of the finish. ****

Road Dogg & X-Pac beat The Dudleys in a double tables match in 10:55. Basic good match. Heat on D-Von early. Buh Buh made a hot tag. They brought some tables into the ring. Dogg put D-Von through a table first with a pump handle slam. Buh Buh then power bombed X-Pac through a table, so the next table would win it. Unfortunately, the next table was the ref. Brisco came out. The Dudleys gave Dogg a 3-D through the table but no ref.

Brisco pulled Dogg out of the ring so the ref wouldn't see him next to the broken table. They teased putting Tori through the table but Brisco saved her. This set up X-Pac using the X-factor on Buh Buh sending him through the table for the win. After the match, the Dudleys put Brisco through the table with the 3-D. If they had just bothered to pin him, they could have been the hardcore champion. **3/4

The next match was the 60 minute Iron Man match for the World Title. The Rock defending against Triple H, with Shawn Michaels as the guest referee

At WrestleMania, Vince McMahon turned on The Rock and helped Triple H retain his title, joining his daughter Stephanie and son Shane in the McMahon-Helmsley Faction, with Triple H and DX. At Backlash, with the help of Steve Austin, The Rock defeated Triple H. The next night on Raw Triple H stated that he wanted to take The Rock on in a 60-minute Iron man match for the title. Shawn Michaels then requested to be special guest referee, and that led to this match.

On the first Smackdown, Triple H defended the World Title against Rock, and Shawn Michaels was the ref in that match also. Shawn ended up hitting Rock with Sweet Chin Music, which led to HHH winning the match.

HHH won the WWF title beating Rock six falls to five in an Iron Man match which technically went 60:08. The match started with Helmsley telling the McMahons to leave because he wanted to win the title on his own. You could see a lot of Ric Flair, and some Ray Stevens, in the new spots to kill the time. Rock took the first fall at 10:42 with the rock bottom. That was gutsy. Rock started working on HHH"s left knee and used the figure four. HHH and ref Shawn Michaels both did a great job of selling pain and a near submission.

They also teased two near falls with Ross and Lawler talking about strategy saying in this position it may be better to give up the fall to alleviate the knee damage over the long haul. HHH, in a total face fashion, powered over and reversed the move. They brawled in the crowd which included HHH backdropping Rock from the outside into the ringside area.

A fight broke out in the stands and nobody live was paying attention to the match. Things momentarily didn't look good at this point. Rock whipped HHH's knee into the steps and worked more on it.

As Rock went for another figure four, HHH kicked him off into the buckles and hit him with the pedigree for the pin in 25:27. HHH went ahead in total face fashion winning the third fall in 26:28 with an inside cradle. Fans got into it with Rock down 2-1. They brawled to the entrance area with HHH suplexing Rock on the carpet and Rock back suplexing HHH on the floor but did the move weakly. Rock backdropped HHH on the floor. When they got back in the ring, HHH took the fall at 32:24 with a piledriver to go up 3-1. Rock armwhipped HHH off the top rope similar to a superplex.

Rock got a hardway cut just over his right eye, and finally won the fall with a floatover DDT in 40:35 to make it 3-2. HHH tried to use a chair, but Michaels took it from him. Rock whipped HHH's shoulder into the ring steps and gave him a spinning neckbreaker on the floor. HHH came back into the ring and clocked Rock with a chair, and Rock juiced, for a DQ in 43:44 to tie it 3-3.

HHH immediately went back up 4-3 scoring a pin in 44:07 with his foot on the ropes. HHH spent the next fall using sleepers and finally won using the move in 47:27 to go up 5-3. What didn't make sense is if Rock was out from a sleeper, HHH should have been able to get several pins in a row.

Rock made a comeback and HHH took the Harley Race bump over the top, kicking a camera man in the head on the way over. Rock hit a superplex for a near fall. Both looked pretty tired at this point. Rock catapulted HHH into the post and he didn't blade which was surprising. HHH whipped Rock's shoulder into the ring steps. HHH pulled both monitors off the American desk, to make it safer for the next spot. He teased the rock bottom on the desk, but Rock reversed it, giving HHH his own pedigree on the desk with HHH hitting his head. HHH bladed and was counted out at 56:06 making it 5-4 with less than four minutes left.

The McMahons showed up at this point. After delivering a DDT, Rock punched Vince and Shane and gave HHH the spinebuster and people's elbow to tie it 5-5 at 58:02. At this point the McMahons interfered and took Michaels out of the picture.

Road Dogg and X-Pac starting attacking Rock. Shane hit Rock with a chair. Undertaker came out with a bikers gimmick on a motorcycle and destroyed everyone. Take choke slammed Shane, Dogg and X-Pac and decked Vince with a potato shot.

The heat was amazing because in the countdown, the crowd always chants down and instead they were into Undertaker and ignoring that time was running out. Undertaker teased choke slamming Stephanie when HHH attacked him, and Taker choke slammed HHH. The clock had gone off as there was no way they were going to get the finish ahead of the clock.

Michaels got back in the ring and Taker set up the tombstone on HHH. Michaels warned him not to do it, but he did and then the bell rang to end the match. Michaels explained to Howard Finkel that because of outside interference in the final fall, that Rock had to be disqualified so HHH won the fall and the title. ****

There was some concern going into the PPV because Pat Patterson, who is considered the expert at helping the wrestlers lay out their matches, wasn't going to be at the show, particularly as it pertained to the 60:00 match. Patterson was given time off because he's moving for the summer from Tampa to Montreal to be closer to his family and this was the week he was driving his belongings up. HHH laid out the match ahead of time with a little bit of fine tuning from Jack Lanza

with a few seconds remaining on the scoreboard clock, panicked officials turn the clock off which negated the buzzer going off at the 60:00 mark, realizing they were in a position where it would be at least ten seconds from the scheduled DQ and then hit the buzzer after the tombstone on HHH by the returning Undertaker, which caused Rock to be disqualified in the final fall and thus lose six falls to five in a match where the title could change hands via DQ.

The original plan was for the DQ to take place actually several seconds before the time limit and have time for Rock to attempt a comeback for the traditional babyface ending of a 60:00 world title attempt (babyface has heel pinned but time runs out on him).

Technically, by the rules of the match, Rock should have retained the title, but in theater, when the timing isn't right, you simply turn the clock off. This snafu was actually somewhat acknowledged in the commentary on the show, and made into an issue on Raw the next day when they created a controversy, attempting to rule that the choke slam, that Michaels wasn't supposed to have seen (which he was actually looking at), and which did occur with two seconds remaining in regulation time, is now what the DQ was called for, except the buzzer to denote the fall ending and Michaels signalling for it as the ending of the fall still took place ten seconds later.

Ross and Lawler also should be given a lot of kudos for their work in calling the match, as they talked strategy and kept things interesting during the slow periods of the match and when the crowd heat was done, talking about strategy so the match never really seemed to drag, which can't be said for their Wrestlemania appearance. What was also interesting is that in laying out the match, HHH had a lot of spots that made him the babyface.

This was the first time that we had really seen the American Badass Undertaker. Talk about how that gimmick came to be, and did you think it was a good idea at the time?

Better Iron man Match? Bret vs Shawn or Rock vs HHH?

The next night, Raw took place from the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis drew a sellout 13,622 paying $379,663.

Vince came out first and said Undertaker won't be there because he's not under contract to WWF and they've got marshals guarding the entrances to keep him out. He challenged Rock to a singles match on the show, but then said it would be all the members of DX plus Shane against Rock.

As Vince was walking backstage, Rock attacked him with a zillion garbage can shots. The funniest one was him throwing Vince in the limo and telling the driver to take him away. Vince then stuck his head out the window to yell at Rock, and Rock bashed his head with another garbage can lid shot.

T&A beat Hardys in 3:55. Jeff did the swanton on Albert but Test came off the top with the elbow on Jeff and Albert rolled over for the pin.

Guerrero beat Brown to keep the European title in 2:25 with a hurracanrana when Godfather distracted Brown and gave him a pimp drop after the match.

Rock destroyed Road Dogg & X-Pac backstage. Angle & Edge & Christian beat Too Cool & Rikishi in 2:50 when Edge hit Scotty with a tag title belt to break up his worm spot.

Angle pinned Scotty a small package. Shane did an interview. Rock came out and cleaned beat him up.

Benoit beat Venis via DQ in 6:44 when Bob Holly hit Benoit with a really hard chair shot. Holly then hit Venis with a chair shot. Jericho came out and hit Bob with a hard chair shot.

Dudleys beat Bossman & Buchanan in 5:02 with the 3-D on Bossman. Fans chanted for tables and didn't get them this time. Crash Holly, threw a temper tantrum on the Acolytes, threatening to sue over breach of contract. Crash poured beer on Bradshaw, leading to a match in the ring where Bradshaw beat him in 2:00 after a clothesline.

Michaels did a taped interview basically trying to keep him face saying he called it down the middle.

Godfather & Rios were scheduled against Malenko & Saturn. Earlier in the show Rios was fooling around with the ho's and got busted by Lita. Godfather offered Malenko two ho's and he took them and left Saturn, who got no such offer. Saturn had to work a handicap match. But Lita shoved Rios off the top rope and Saturn pinned him after a brainbuster in 1:32.

Show ended with a lengthy segment starring Rock and HHH. They verbally jousted. The crowd was starting to cheer HHH as a face somewhat here. It wound up with Rock fighting everyone in the company. Rock was unable to get his shirt off. It was buttoned and he couldn't get it over his wrist and he got majorly annoyed. Undertaker came in with the bike and everyone sold big for him again. Rock eventually gave HHH a rock bottom through the table to close the show

I thought that was one of the loudest reactions I had ever heard when taker arrived

Rob Tillison

I bought the VHS version bc of Undertaker’s return. It’ll be interesting to hear JR’s take bc there was mistiming at the end. If Shawn had seen the chokeslam and DQ’d that, it was right before time ran out, set up perfectly. But he DQ’d bc of the tombstone but it was after time had ran out, and JR commented it was already over. Vince was in the ring so I’m sure he would’ve gone nuts watching the screen and seeing this mistiming that the audience at home would see.
