What’s up my dudes! Nick, if a wrestler “goes into business for themselves” during a match is the referee, from an office perspective, supposed to try and get them back on track or are they expected to go with the flow? I ask because I watched the Brody/Luger match from 1987 where Brody just 100% stopped cooperating/selling which caused Luger to climb out of the cage and leave. The match was ruined. Would the “office” be upset with Bill Alfonso (the ref for that match) for not trying to get it back on track or is that not a referee’s responsibility?
