Just had a mini panic attack...

After posting a link for people to place orders for prints of my artwork. I received a couple orders, and after I started printing I found out that my prints looked absolutely horrible! Supper dark, muddy, and gross.

Me freaking out, cause it was literally working just fine, as I had done some test prints like 2 mins before.

Long story short, windows has a dumb setting that I must have turned on some how, which basically ruins everything that you print! 😫

Thankfully after a long 2 hours of stress, I think I fixed it by turning that setting off. Sooo! I think everything should be fine now. And thankfully I got to fix it before I went to bed, cause it would have been stuck in my head.

So am I! So far, it seems all back to normal! So I hope it stays that way! 😅

Improvise, Adapt and overcome. AND YOU DID. Remember, Microsoft is always out to get ya but you got passed it. Freaking out is just part of mix but you did not let runaway with you *tips my hat to you* Did you discover what may have happened to create the problem so you can avoid it next time?

It was more of a printer issue, but the setting is integrated within windows printing settings... so yes I think I found the problem, and I think I should be able to avoid it! 😅

Just for the curiosity of printing public (and to prevent others' potential panic) can you tell us what setting was that you had to correct?

It’s called “sharpen for printing” which I must have clicked somehow? But it prints the picture with a sharpening filter, which basically ruins the print. If I can get to it I’ll post a picture of the results I was getting.
