Hi all, welcome to what I'm incredibly proud to introduce as our first serious mini-maxi series: a look with Street Fight Radio's own Brian "MurderBryan" Quinby at what we're calling "accessible" games, and what you might call games that you played with all of your friends, gamers or not, and bridged gaps between young, old, rich, and poor.

We're going back in time a ways to talk about one of me and Bryan's childhood touchstones, Mortal Kombat (specifically 1-3). Get some history on the game's development and a sense of what it meant to a couple of kids living in boring suburbs in 1994.

I loved this episode, it really resonated with me as someone who usually only games as something to do with friends.
