Help needed (Patreon)

 Hi there. I'll be very grateful if you take some minutes of your time to read this and leave a comment: 

Despite I can say that I'm a successful creator content and I have awesome customers and supporters, I'm concerned about the future of my patreon. Sadly, there's no much pledge growing since the past year (as you can see in the graphic) and I started to wonder if what I'm offering is enough attractive. One of the issues is the 3 USD rewards. Ain’t much people is picking it up. There's some ideas that I have in mind: 

  • $3  USD Loot box: patrons can get  sketch, pin up (1 character) or request (2 characters max). The winner and the reward will be picked using wheeldecide on the first stream of the month.
  • No more rematch poll, instead $1 USD patrons can suggest one character to sketch.
  • Instead of the above already mentioned, I could create a drawing series using one or two characters, interacting in different ways. At the end of the month you'll have 3 or 4 illustrations telling a brief story, suggested by the 5usd patrons on a exclusive room chat on discord. (In this case the $3 USD tier, pin up poll and rematch poll won't exist anymore)
  • Commissioner tier (50-60usd). One of you will be able to commissioning me one ilustration per month. 

Or...The nuclear option: basically I would be working on my own comics. The fan arts will be a secondary reward or maybe won’t exist anymore. 

I opened this patreon to work on my unfinished webcomic "Sexgazer", that I think is very dead by now, but in the meantime I've written some stuff, short self conclusive stories (6-8 pages). Despite I like to draw known characters, also I want to give a try to follow the steps of the artists that inspired me to start on the hentai such as Joel Jurion, Serpieri or Manara.

 The nuclear option was almost a reality at the beginning of the year, but with the coronavirus outbreak, losing patrons is something that I can't allow to happen. I don't wanna sound like a drama queen, but hentai is my actual work, hentai pay the bills and the food on my table. Actually, I'm the only one on my family that keeps a job (they don't know that I draw porn, if you're wondering).

In any case, every change will be notified with some weeks of anticipation and it will be done after analyzing all the pros and cons. So, this is not something that could happen in the next month. That's why I'm asking for your help. What would you want to see? What are the best practices that you could recommend to me? Are you happy with the current rewards? You didn't read a single word and you don't give a shit seeing SXG on the edge of the mental breakdown?

So reading this SXG I wonder what could have possibly happened to make you decrease in earnings and or patrons ? Cause I know for a fact that it couldn't be ppl losing interested in your work (you'll have to be blind,crippled and crazy too) when there's the hentai commumity begging for quality art like this. So i wonder what happened. As for ideas we'll atm trying to think of the top of my head is maybe make commission more frequently possibly since you know for a fact that most if not all of us be ready to get into every man for himself just to get a slot and is willing to pay top dollar for it especially since it's take season too.

the loot box is good, but I think the series could be a very attractive reward too. Like, I think the part of the artist interacting with his patreons and creating something cool every month is a nice detail <3

I do really like the Loot Box option, with that said what I have noticed with some other artists is that they have a staple that keeps people coming back for more which is often a comic or something that is unique to their page. I think if you had control over your own comic(s), they wouldn’t have a choice but to come to your page to find the comics since no other artists can make it. Because a lot of artist can make pinups of characters but it’s the comics that make the work unique to just you. Maybe giving patrons the option to add suggestions or request on said comics?? I hope that helps and I don’t sound too preachy haha

But as for the loot boxes I'll glhave to research more into how hest that can work cause i mean seriously considering you aren't a richer than Bill Gates by now after all the WW (especially that JL War one), Black Widow & Spiderman content you've done is a more criminal than anything Joker could commit

the loot box seems like a solid idea! Although I'm a bit torn from the mini set of pics each month, since its sounds cool. But at the cost of the pin-up and rematch polls, since those can add some variety in characters to place your vote on. But thats my two cents, just hoping for the best for you!

so I would add a cum tier with 3 variations, some like futa as well. I see a lot of artists do this and are very successful, also maybe promote your art on other peoples twitter accounts some allow it.
