I hope everyone has a good start into the new week! Here is an update containing several fixes!

Installation Instructions/Tested Setups: https://minecraftphysicsmod.com/installation

Known Mod/MacOS compatibility issues: https://pastebin.com/RyCHatfS

Iris Compatibility: Minecraft 1.16.5/1.17.1 requires Iris 1.4.2 or lower.

IMPORTANT Ocean Physics Information: Only use a maximum of 12 chunk render distance. Anything higher could result in big lag spikes.

Ocean Physics Supported Shaders: https://pastebin.com/MttZQncu

Smoke Physics Information: Minecraft particles have to be enabled for it to work! The further away you are from smoke sources the less particles spawn. Temporal Anti-Aliasing (or TAA) can cause issues with the smoke so disabling it will eliminate some visual artifacts. Not all shaders are supported (best results that I've got are with BSL shaders).

Snow Physics Information: Optifine is not supported (use Iris + Sodium on Fabric/Oculus + Rubidium on Forge). High render distances on slow CPUs might result in delayed snow tracks.

Liquid Physics Information: https://pastebin.com/E9dMD9MZ

Changes:

  • Fixed snow staying on chunk borders even though it got removed
  • Fixed an issue with rendering transparent physics particles in the Optifine internal shaderpack rendering
  • Fixed litematica crashing the game when banners are in the schematic
  • Fixed clouds disappearing with complementary shaderpack and ocean enabled while using optifine
  • Fixed a rare JVM crash happening randomly
  • Reduced GPU memory usage when enabling water ripples

Y have a fabric mod pack with some 150 mods and this mod works good but doesnt work the most cool things, the ocean and the snow :(

what are the best setting for getting most realistic smoke possible?

Turn the features on? If they don't work, look for mods that do similar things. Mod pack dev is hard, all the ingredients (mods) in the soup need to work together, even then you still need to season it (add data/resource packs) once the base dish is prepped. Read your logs.
