This update greatly improves the memory footprint of snow physics. In my test world it went from consuming 946 MB to 227 MB of RAM (pretty high LOD settings were used).

Physics Mod for Minecraft Fabric 1.19.4 is only compatible with Iris 1.6 + Sodium 0.4.10 from the Iris discord (public-test-builds channel)!

Known Mod/MacOS compatibility issues: https://pastebin.com/SspHqVKU

Iris Compatibility: Minecraft 1.16.5/1.17.1 requires Iris 1.4.2 or lower.

IMPORTANT Ocean Physics Information: Only use a maximum of 12 chunk render distance. Anything higher could result in big lag spikes.

Ocean Physics Supported Shaders: https://pastebin.com/e4UvvXh1

Smoke Physics Information: Minecraft particles have to be enabled for it to work! The further away you are from smoke sources the less particles spawn. Temporal Anti-Aliasing (or TAA) can cause issues with the smoke so disabling it will eliminate some visual artifacts. Not all shaders are supported (best results that I've got are with BSL shaders).

Snow Physics Information: Optifine is not supported (use Iris + Sodium on Fabric/Oculus + Rubidium on Forge). High render distances on slow CPUs might result in delayed snow tracks.

Liquid Physics Information: https://pastebin.com/E9dMD9MZ

Changes:

  • Reduced memory footprint of snow physics by 400%
  • Fixed menues turning black when selecting something in a list in 1.19.4

does this file contain all the things (blocks water, smoke, etc) or do i have to download each thing seperately?

I think the latest release breaks the water? Edit: nvm, I just had to reload the shaders.
