This update brings some fixes (especially with entities not sitting properly in boats) and some other improvements like splash particles being adjusted to the ocean surface.

Installation Instructions: https://minecraftphysicsmod.com/installation

Pro Server (Fabric 1.19.3): server.minecraftphysicsmod.com

Iris Compatibility: Minecraft 1.16.5/1.17.1 requires Iris 1.4.2 or lower.

IMPORTANT Ocean Physics Information: Only use a maximum of 12 chunk render distance. Anything higher could result in big lag spikes.

Ocean Physics Supported Shaders: https://pastebin.com/vqDmXDhL

Smoke Physics Information: Minecraft particles have to be enabled for it to work! The further away you are from smoke sources the less particles spawn. Temporal Anti-Aliasing (or TAA) can cause issues with the smoke so disabling it will eliminate some visual artifacts. Not all shaders are supported (best results that I've got are with BSL shaders).

Snow Physics Information: Optifine is not supported (use Iris + Sodium on Fabric/Oculus + Rubidium on Forge). High render distances on slow CPUs might result in delayed snow tracks.

Liquid Physics Information: https://pastebin.com/E9dMD9MZ

Changes:

  • Explosions under water no longer generate smoke
  • Adjusted rain particles to ocean surface
  • Changed default settings of snowball, enderpearl and eggs to impact type bounce
  • Fixed water logged blocks acting as ocean surface
  • Fixed a ocean to water clipping bug
  • Fixed a crash related to some other mods
  • Fixed mobs and players not sitting properly in boats during intense ocean waves

Hey, I'm sorry if you saw the post I made on the last update's post and this is just annoying, though I just wanted to put it here just in case. I have noticed when I kill mobs, they tend to go flying upwards which is rather annoying. I was just wondering if this was a bug, or an added intentionally. Despite that however, this mod is simply amazing, and I can't wait to see what else you come up with in the future for it

Hey, first of, i love this physics mod. I would say, even the basemod should be used by everyone because it fits so perfectly into minecraft. My Question: Is there a plan to make the Oceanphysics compatible with Optifine? Right now there is sadly no alternative to Optifine if i want custom Entity models and i would love to use the Oceanphysics. They are awesome^^

Please find a way for optifine compatibility, its a key component for a better performing minecraft, which also allows better alliasing and shaders compatibility. I've got an entire modpack with forgeoptifine working with shaders, but have to compromise all that for this one physics mod that I paid for.

Install Oculus + Rubidium (or Iris + Sodium on Fabric). They give you a way better performance and allow me to bring Minecraft into the future. There is no way to make Optifine compatible, sorry.
