As cool as the new 'Life-Size' Spirit Proton Pack is, the pack's outstanding design flaw is it's cyclotron area. Like with the original pack, Spirit opted for a simplified design with some questionable geometry choices (and speaker placement!). Luckily, this is remedied with a little 3D printing elbow grease.

I created a set of STLs built to fit the Life-Size Proton Pack... although this does require that you cut away original cyclotron. Be sure you keep a steady hand and take your time with that Dremel tool!

Here are few diagrams that may help with your Spirit 'surgery'...

Might be a silly question, but would this fit for the original 80% version of the Spirit pack too if scaled down or is the geometry too different between the two versions?

Does anyone know of a service where I could pay to get the parts printed and then mailed to me, because a good 3D printer is kinda outta my budget right now 😅
