Egon's Stethoscope Mod (Patreon)

"Egon, this reminds me of the time you tried to drill a hole through your head..."

I've been working on some parts for creating some of the 'scientist' equipment used early on in the original Ghostbusters movie. For Halloween, I decided to create a version of the lab outfits that were used in "We're ready to believe you!" commercial.

One of the accessories I created was a stethoscope mod that Egon can be seen wearing in the commercial and when we first see him in the library. The mod makes uses of some store-bought items and a some 3D printable parts (attached here).

• Stethoscope - This cheap one worked well as it has the right mix of silver and black.
• Old-school headphones - This one worked for my purposes (and, again super cheap!)
• 3D printable parts - Attached here are some basic parts for converting things over to an Egon-style stethoscope.

The silver 'ear clips' slip right over the thin headphones and allow the stethoscope to plug into the sides (you'll need to take off the stock ear adapters). I also provided a more accurate 'chest piece' that you can print and swap out with the stock one.

It's a quick, cheap, and easy project and can provide a little more variety to any GB costume.
