Last November, I published a new set of movie-style Ghost Trap files. One of the mechanisms I worked out was a servo + gear assembly that allowed for both doors to be opened and closed with a single servo. This makes the door electronics quite efficient (in comparison, these electronics use two servos and an armature).

Additionally, I also employed the use of an NRF model to trigger the open-close action remotely. This allows me to avoid having to run wiring to the trap from a pedal or remote control. I really like these modules - they are easy to program and they have great range in my basic tests.

A pedal would be awesome.

I think i need help with this. I've hooked the pedal remote up as shown on the diagram and uploaded the code to the arduino nano. When I push the switch nothing happens, the only light that is on is the power light. I try to go to the serial monitor and all I see is 5 question marks. The arduino in the trap is hooked up as well.
