Greetings Patrons (and visitors),

There have been a notable uptick in subscriptions in the last week or two - it's extremely humbling to see that the subscription total sits at just over 100 patrons! So first of all - THANK YOU! I never would have imagined that there would be this kind of interest in my DIY 3D printing work. I originally started this Patreon to provide some value back to the GB prop builder community and maybe collect some passive income that could fund my modest hobby efforts.

Seeing this Patreon community grow beyond expectations has caused me to think about what else I could do that could make a positive impact. After all, one of the inspiring things about the Ghostbusters fandom is in how willing fans are to make a positive impact to their communities - it's a big reason I get motivated to suit up.

This is why for the months of November and December I have decided to pledge my Patreon earnings (minus any fees and other pledges) to some philanthropic causes that I am passionate about.

To kick things off, today I have made a donation of $250 to No Kid Hungry on behalf of this Ghostbusters Gear Patreon community (receipt below). The organization provides grants, research, and policy advocacy in support of ending child hunger in America. I'll provide more updates as I select other causes to support this holiday season.

I wanted to again say THANK YOU to all patrons - past and present - for making this account successful. It's inspiring to think that this little hobby can make an impact.

I hope you all are enjoying the content and having fun! We have a BIG ghostbusting week ahead of us.... see you at the theaters!

Sincerely,

Nate Miller

UPDATE! Since posting yesterday, I decided to direct an additional $105 of my Patreon earnings to Make A Wish - a non-profit organization that fulfills wishes of children with critical illnesses.

This brings the November donation total to $355 (equal to Patreon earnings received at the start of this month - after fees/creator pledges). Patron pledges have grown since then so we'll have some more fun here in December!
