I have to say: I'm digging some of the new Hasbro 'roleplay' Ghostbusters toys coming out for kids. In particular, I really like the Proton Blaster MOD. The blaster is a good size (slightly smaller than a 'full size' prop) and it has some decent sound effects and exchangeable parts that contribute to the play value.

One of the things it's missing? A way to hook it on to a pack!

Here, I adapted some of the custom V-hook parts I have been using in my other 3D printing projects to make a replacement batter cover that can attach to a pack. This package includes:

  • A battery cover
  • A v-hook for the wand
  • A compatible v-hook connection for a pack

The cover and wand v-hook plug together and should be securely superglued together. My part pictured here feels quite solid and strong. A word of caution: 3D printed v-hooks are not as strong as their metal counterparts. So consider this a disclaimer if you or your kids tend to play rough with their toys.
