This past winter, I began creating upgrades and modifications to my movie props inspired by Ghostbusters: The Video Game. I really like the game and I consider it a proper "Ghostbusters III" with the team still in their prime and voiced by the original actors.

In the coming months, I will be preparing 3D printable files so others can create pack upgrades like the video game. This first upgrade is the "Slime Injection System" modification to the Proton Pack. This file set includes files for a side slime tank, booster tube modification, a headlight, and various fittings for tubes.

Check out the interactive instruction and part dashboard here!

In addition to 3D printer material, to complete the project you'll need:

In addition to parts that are suited to a full-size pack, I included a few part size variations to the parts to fit the "Spirit Proton Pack" - in fact, the mods were originally designed for a the Spirit pack. I have a work-in-progress Spirit TVG pack that sits proudly alongside my movie replica and RGB cartoon pack.

This style of mod isn't as "cleanly" accomplished as the ground-up builds of my RGB files - they require you to drill, cut, and alter your existing gear. No two packs are the same so my parts may not be a perfect fit - so be prepared to be an agile and creative builder! I also opted to paint some of my parts - the side tank is a good example of a part that benefits from sanding, filling, and finding the right shade of green paint!

Here is my current TVG pack (WIP - still a ways to go!)

Wow that was super fast! Thanks a bunch. May I request that you make an Afterlife Clippard base?! That would be amazing. Love your work.

This is so awesome! What kind of screws did you use?

I used metric Hex cap head machine screws - 2mm, 3mm and 4mm diameter. I keep a variety of lengths on hand for these projects
