Calling someone’s suicide jump a leap of faith is darkly hilarious and I thank you for that. I don’t know if this kind of wording has a specific term for it, but it reminds me of the line from the ween song ‘If You Could Save Yourself’. “The checks all bounced, I came in your mouth, your mother came calling but there was no one around”. Keep up the good work. I’m not a fan of many video essays as they largely comprise of people with similar voices, views, writing styles, and editing styles patting themselves on the back for saying stuff that really isn’t too interesting, but you always continue to impress me.
