There've been many crypto newbies joining this group. So I'd like to provide the following resources to help them navigate this space a little easier. Take your time to buy your crypto. Watch youtube tutorial videos to figure out how to use an exchange or transfer your coins to your wallet. There are Youtube tutorial videos on almost all subject in crypto.

The best way to learn how to navigate the cryptocurrency industry is by watching tutorial videos. There're many videos that provide step-by-step instructions on how to open an account with an exchange, how to buy coins and then transfer to your cold wallet or mobile app. Anything that you need to learn in this space, chances are there are someone has already done a video on it.

There isn't any exchange or app that carries ALL of the coins. To figure out which exchange sells which coin, go to Coingecko  --> in the search box put your coin name, then go to the middle of the page and click Markets.

Use Coingecko or coin market cap to figure out where to buy your coins

How do you like meta mask? At the time that was the only place I knew to have my kick in

SL369crypto

Meta mask is ok. Don’t leave a lot of crypto on there just like any other wallet. Meta mask can be hacked; I have heard from two different members within the last 10 months. One member still couldn’t figure out how they were able to drain his Acct. The 2nd member clicked on a phishing link from a scammer who pretended to be an admin of Theta Telegram group.

I would also download protonmail and sign up to their free email account. Their email is encrypted and I would use it for everything crypto related when an email is required. I would also run a couple VPNs. I use ExpressVPN for everything US related and I use NordVPN for everything international especially when using KuCoin or Mandala exchange.
