Putting aside the idea of android full independence/emotional sentience... From a completely Android logic POV, i'm guessing (and don't want confirmation if i've guessed right) that Deevy and Inva have become each other's reason for continued operation/existence. Illogical to Arthur, but there you go... it works for their logic systems.
