Content

As you might have noticed, I made a major change to the game for the bugfix version, where I removed the 'time limit' and the perks.

I didn't do this because anybody told me to, but because I felt it was a misunderstood feature and took focus away from the game and the story. In the same go, I simplified ways to exit the free roams so that you can use that functionality if you don't want to go through every free roam fully for re-runs.

Other than that, I hope those who had a chance to play the release enjoyed it. As mentioned, we're just starting the main story and dip into what this 'u4ia' is.

Going forward

From episode three, the story will begin to 'branch out' a bit, where you get different scenes depending on your previous choices. Episode three also focuses on how everyone copes with what's happening, and we have a little trip planned. We still haven't gotten to the very romantic part of the story, which is dedicated to episode four. But episode three should give you ample opportunities to spend time with your chosen one and get to know everyone better. And there will be a decent amount of lewd scenes. Some are on the sexy side, and others are on the funnier side. Sex doesn't have to be uber-serious at all times. Sometimes, it can spawn some interesting situations.

I'm taking the weekend off now, as it's been a very hectic start to 2024 with the release prep and removing the perks after the release. But from Monday, I'll be back at it, preparing the script and posing animations to keep downtime to a minimum.

Short walkthrough help (spoilers)

As usual, I try to give you some information about how to obtain different things you might have missed out on after every release. Here's a quick rundown (and skip this part if you don't want spoilers):

  • Synne: In episode 1, accept her job offer instead of Lin upstairs at Cloud Nine. In her office after work, keep waiting until you can "look at her screen". At the beach, get the beer behind Lars. You can spend some more time with her if you leave the episode 1 docks alone. Bonus points for fucking Evangeline on the beach.
  • Evangeline: Spend time with her on the sixth floor and at the hotel pool. Turn down fucking her and ask for a date instead.
  • Geneva: In episode 1, stay in the queue for Cloud Nine, leave alone, and accept her advances outside when you leave (if you forgot to clean the bed in your trailer, she'll still agree to try again in episode 2). Agree to continue at the hotel lunch.
  • Lin: In episode 1, turn down Synne. See Lin in the office after work, and get sun lotion on the beach (behind Lars).
  • Teagan: At the start of episode 1, help Freddy at the docks and go to Teagan. After cloud nine, leave with Teagan. This will give you a slightly more romantic trip to the store in episode 2.
  • Anita: Follow Teagan's advice for episode 1, and after following Teagan home, accept Anita's advances.
  • Sea: In episode 1, go all the way to the toilets (beyond the bathroom) to make Sea spawn. Go back outside the toilets to see her. In episode two, go see her on the third floor and the diner after lunch. At the beach, get the key in the bathroom stall (from start: left, up, left, click on bathroom stall).
  • Gina: In episode 1, help Freddy, then look at the yacht. Agree to have them show you around, and leave with Gina after Cloud Nine.
  • Celeste: Don't get the jet ski keys instantly while on the beach. Instead, interact with people until you see her towel hanging on the shower stall wall. Then get the jet ski keys.
  • Jackie: No requirements, but selecting "you're the only one for me" when you first talk to her will help open future scenes.
  • Paige: Planning for episode 3 and onwards, the choice where you look at her magazine with her in the trailer counts more than the actual accepting/rejecting sex a bit later.
  • Samantha: No requirement. But you should talk to her at the first beach-roam. You can also talk to her at the hotel parking.
  • Tuesday/Pearl: No requirement, but you can run into them in the last beach-roam. Click on the boots on the beach floor if you advance beyond Jackie's screen. That scene will differ if you got dildo'ed on the hotel's fifth floor.
  • Jane: Accept calling her 'Jane' and look up at her boobs at least twice to get the option to kiss her on the cheek.

Upcoming polls

I hope you enjoyed Roxanne, which most of you took part in creating over several polls some months back. I think she turned out lovely - good job. Episode three polls should include cosmetic polls and polls for the participant(s) to a lewd scene. This time, the poll is to see what interests you and to help me create the actual poll for content in episode three.

Have a nice weekend, and stay safe out there.

I know this is your U4ia page, but I just wanted to talk about Leap of Faith for a second. I just finished my Cece play-through (saved hers for last), and I have to say I love everything about her story. She's such a sweet and kind soul that is the glue that holds everything together, thank you for creating these great characters and stories and I hope you continue to have success. I can't wait to play more U4ia also. Thank you Drifty.

I miss the idea of the perks, but totally felt like the game was smoother this way. Love the work. Love the characters and that is the special sauce you bring. Leap of Faith was one of the first AVNs I played and it was so impactful because of the care for the characters. I see that here too, and although I hope this is a little lighter to write I hope you continue to make characters we all want to love. Thank You.
