As you might have noticed, the trailer and release date for u4ia is out. Hope you enjoyed it, and it's not meant to reveal much of the story, just to give a general idea of what the game is about. If you didn't see it, the release date is May 5th, and you can view the trailer here.
I didn't plan on releasing the trailer just yet, but I got the ok to use music from an external source, and since that was pretty much the only thing I can't control myself, and getting it sorted, I had no reason to hold back on the trailer anymore.
That also means it's 8 weeks until release, and if you subtract the week or two needed for testing, I've got my plate full all the way up until release. And yes, and have already raised my shoulders to ear height as I always do when the date has been put out there.
This week, I've continued to assemble everything in RenPy, and will continue for the next, and probably the week after that before I start posing and rendering the last scenes that are still remaining.
So, come May 5th, this release will have a production time of 7 months and 5 days. Looking at the number of patrons now, I see I have almost the same number as I had when the Leap of Faith was completed. That is almost unreal, and I thank you very much for the patience and support as I've been doing all the 'boring' stuff such as building a stable platform, designing the UI and phone, and the test to settle on the general visual look for the game.
I'll leave you with some previews that were not shown in the trailer, with an amazing precious asset that I commissioned from Wibble the famous architect. :)
That's all for now. Enjoy the weekend, and stay safe out there.
