It was a tough chapter to make, but I'm very proud and happy to be able to finally give you the 8th and last chapter of Leap of Faith.

Leap of Faith v1.0 - Changelog:

  • Added 2,535 story renders
  • Added more than 30,000 animated frames
  • Added 13,400 lines of script/dialogue
  • Added 62 licensed songs (new and old songs), and two Creative Commons
  • Updated to Ren'Py 8.0.2
  • Added scene gallery
  • Added main menu sliding screens for all characters
  • All chapter 7 saves should work, probably even older ones too
  • If you have problems with Lexi's concert performance lagging, use preferences to choose a lower quality version of it

Which song plays during the bunny slipper dance? Also you'd probably make a killing if you sold bunny slippers as merch. This story really kind of messed with my brain. Contemplating life in general. Was it based on a real event?

Alright, there was one more I couldn’t wait to finish … my solution was to do a speed run of the first 7 chapters. I couldn’t force myself past all the scenes (cause onion ninjas), and of course there are some events you can’t speed by, but got back to the last chapter in less that two hours. It was worth the effort … and I MIGHT do it again, but not immediately.

Seeing the final update notice really made my day. I finished out Cece's path as soon as Steam finished downloading the update. Then when my girlfriend got up I played through it again. We've been playing it together. I think Cece and Lexi are her favorites. The next day, I started a new playthrough to see how things have changed. The music selections being different are hitting a little different, but I think you made good choices working with what you had. I've noticed a few typos and grammar errors (I'm playing it with the voice reader on, so any spelling errors really stand out. For example it doesn't pronounce Cece's name like "See-See". It says "sease", rhymes with crease. I've always read it as "See-See/C-C", short for Cecilia. A few other's just looked like a slip of the finger on the keyboard. That's minor though. I'm just really happy that the music is back! Though I'll admit I've been cheating a little with the music by turning the game music off, and playing the old songs in the background with my MP3 player. :D Take THAT obnoxious copyright claim! I noticed that Michael Shynes and Katrina Stone's music is not in the game. I hope at some point you can work out a deal with them. I literally would NEVER have known about their music if it hadn't been for Leap Of Faith. Looking forward to your next game Drifty, Matthew Paulus

I am on my third playthrough now, just having entered chapter 7 again. I cried... again. I don't think I am crying for a character in a vdeo game -- I think I cried for real people I knew at least a little bit and for real people (one in particular) who I have never met... and for a wonderful, complex character in a video game who represents them. Thanks, thanks, thanks.

Honestly this game is better than any other of its kind, it has everything from complex characters and an amazing soundtrack to an emotional and all-round amazing story. I hope that there is more to come with these characters because you really do a great job in connecting them with the player. Thanks for this amazing experience I'm praying there's more to come.

I downloaded it as soon as I got home from work and thankfully had the next day off. Amazing way to close out this amazing story Drifty! So far I have completed CeCe’s, Lexi’s, Linda’s, Stephanie’s and the Robin/Kira endings. Loved them all and each one caused happy tears mixed in with laughs and sad tears, but all worth it! No spoilers, but one ending did surprise me and thank you Drifty for that wonderful surprise. A few endings to go while looking forward to your next work. Cheers and blessings Drifty.

Just finished Cece ending, great job. I was not able to get my saves to transfer over, however.

Fantastic. Well worth the wait. Before playing this I thought games like this were all just smut and I was fine with it, but there's just so much heart in this. There's so much lacklustre stuff out there, it's a real standout. Thank you.
