just to clear up a misunderstanding you guys have. All 7 servants only needed to die to grant Rin's dad wish of "reaching the root" specifically. Other wishes can be granted without all 7 servants dead. For example if Kiritsugu hadn't rejected the grail and went ahead with his wish it would have been granted despite 2 servants still being alive at that point (Gilgamesh and Saber). Most wishes only require 5 or 6 servant dead. It was just Rin's dad wish that required his own servant's death/ all 7 dead because "reaching the root" is a harder wish to grant than other wishes.
