About the stuff Anthony said at the start, most of the arcs in One Piece looks like that: new place > split up > stuff happening all over the place > conclusion. And yea as i said already in in next 4 eps it will start getting better and better after that. Main plot and big fights the usual in long shounen's. Imagine watching those week to week one ep 10 years ago. About the "they gonna win for sure" that's why i like seinen (adult) manga/anime like Berserk and Gantz that are highly praised, where those assumption's couldn't be more wrong, but we probably will never get a decent adpositions of those too much budget and expectations.
