Random brain fart, but I wonder if them having watched some of the shittiest Star Wars series (Obi Wan, Bobba Fett, Mando 3, etc), has dwindled away their patience for when Star Wars does something different and new, which in Andor's case is good compared to the above mentioned series. Andor had some of the best world building and dialogue the franchise has so far under The Rat's(tm) influence. Instead of recycling the same old desert planets ad infinitum and banking on nostalgia shit like Mandalorians. Or it just could all be preference. That said, this is one of the best episodes of the series. Skarsgård and Serkis were perfect in this episode. I disagree on the money being spent on Kenobi. Given who were running Kenobi, giving them more budget would've been a huge waste of that budget. personally Kenobi was done more justice in Rebels and Clone Wars, and that live action series didn't need to exist.
