Glad to see you're watching Daredevil! It's true that the Marvel Netflix series weren't considered canon to the MCU. This series was released back in 2015 when Jeph Loeb was in charge of the Marvel Television. In 2019, when Kevin Feige was promoted as Chief Creative Officer, he took over Marvel television and started these Marvel Disney Plus series which were canon. There is going to be a new MCU series called Daredevil: Born Again which will premiere next year on Disney Plus.
