10/10. A simply perfect adaptation of the manga. Couldn't ask for more tbh

Don't think Thorfinn/the writers are trying to say his punch is equivalent to killing someone. Rather it was the fact that he struck someone from hate and anger, the source of which is the same that causes any kind of violence, including killing someone. Yes, the result isn't the same, but it could've easily led to more, and it had in the past.

Also, the retainers were certainly douchebags and were definitely egging them on, but they weren't the ones to throw the first punch, so you can't really say that Thorfinn/Einar were defending themselves. Yes, the retainers devastated their crops, and they were laughing at them. But that's still no reason to use violence against them. Had they chose to suck it up and ignore them, instead of trying to defend their honor, Pater still would have found the evidence needed to punish the retainers. But because they fought one another, the entire thing was nullified instead of possibly having the retainers owe Thorfinn and Einar recompense for the damage they caused.
