End of Eva is needed because the series ending is bad. They ran out of money because of the awesome stuff they did earlier.

I don't know about the rebuild films but End of Eva is absolutely necessary. You can't say you've watched Evangelion if you have not watched the End of Eva movie.

2023-02-12 07:32:28 Rebuild films are not necessary at all but they provide a whole new story which i found enjoyable and while a different story it does provide even more depth to the characters. That's my take of course. & yes End of Eva is just Instrumental and a great film.

Alot of people hate on rebuilds. I personally enjoyed the new take on the story. Plus 2.22 was phenomenal
