Chrollo is already "freed" from Kurapika's chains, by the black guy with the UA uniform-from greed island. He was the nen exorcist,(hisoka as middle man) thats how he exercised the bombers bomb from his body. As for the anime coming back, have hope, Bleach is currently releasing new episodes 10 years later after the anime ended. You guys would really enjoy the show actually, just make sure to dodge filler arcs.

the difference is bleach had source material to work off an HxH is probably not even half way done with the next arc if you physically lined up all the pages togashi has released in the last 4 years, it would literally be a shorter distance than how far a glacier can travel.

It like 10-20 chapters which is 3-7 eps at best, not much to work with. But yea in bleach if you skip fillers its pure plot.
