Wiesel is a German light tank. The Japanese have this thing where they love to name things or characters in their creative works as foreign objects, usually when the setting doesn't take place in Japan. You may have noticed it in FMA where a majority of the main military officers (Mustang, Hawkeye, Breda, Grumman, etc.) were named after military vehicles or weapons. The same thing happens in Reincarnated as a slime where Fuse named some of the demons after supercars. Also I love the fact that Anya only ever eats omurice in the school cafeteria. A "low class, commoner" food being served in a high class snooty school.
