The show gets even more rich and complex from now on. Won't say much, other than the legend of the games is that the Belmonts are a lineage with one important mission, long before Trevor and long after him too. Enjoy!

A couple easter eggs. The painting it focuses on as they are leaving the Belmont trove is Leon Belmont, chronologically his game is the first in the series and ties very closely to the origin of Dracula. It also explains the reason the Belmonts are the enemy of Dracula. The song that plays when Alucard and them enter Dracula's castle is called Bloody Tears and has been featured in many of the Castlevania games. You also mentioned something about wanting to see Dracula redeemed, well in the games the closest thing to that happening is when Dracula is reincarnated as Soma Cruz in Aria of Sorrow which takes place in 2035.
