Hey, I really can’t thank you guys enough for your support. I know there isn’t much on the Patreon account yet but I do plan to change that. I thought it might be cool to give you guys more of an idea of the projects I’m working on, upcoming content and even give you a say in how that content will be created.

A good starting point might be next week’s mega showdown between the Radeon RX 580 and GeForce GTX 1060. I plan to test the RX 480, RX 580, GTX 1060 9Gbps and standard GTX 1060 at the 1080p and 1440p resolutions.

So far on the menu I have the following games…

Far Cry Primal [HD Texture Pack]

Tom Clancy's The Division [DX12]

Hitman [DX12]

Civilization VI [DX12]

Overwatch

Mirror's Edge Catalyst

DOOM [Vulkan]

Mafia III

Gears of War 4 [DX12]

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided [DX12]

Battlefield 1 [DX11]

Quantum Break

F1 2016 [Heavy Rain]

WATCH_DOGS2

Total War: Warhammer [DX12]

Rise of the Tomb Raider [DX12]

Titanfall 2

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

For Honor

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Mass Effect Andromeda

Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands

Grand Theft Auto V

Dishonored 2

So let me know which game(s) are missing, games you want included and if there are any games you think should be removed. We can discuss any changes ;)

For the moment I have set aside four full days for testing, the aim is to get the video ready for Friday the 5th of May.

Solid list, +1 for Witcher 3 since it's very popular (or at least was...).

Just watched this video, great work! As one YouTube comment asked, can you do a few of these games with the cards at their max stable overclock? The feeling is Nvidia generally overclocks further thanks to the efficiency being better & therefore having a little headroom. It'd be interesting to see if this sways the result. Personally I'd go RX 580 over the 1060, assuming the exact same price for both anyway.

They are both pretty poor overclockers, they at best squeeze another 10% out. The 1060 is generally a little better, but as I said the margins are very small.
