How would you prefer to see CPU gaming performance compared?

Using multiple resolutions with a single quality preset or one resolution (1080p) using medium/high/ultra quality settings?

Multiple resolutions is my preference. In regards to 720p and 4k: No need for 4k for cpu tests, usually gpu bound If 1080p low detail gives enough differentiation between each cpu, drop 720p

1080p is a good point that people are familiar with that works to isolate the CPU. Below 1080p and your dealing with something that very few use anymore so it is not a good reference point.
