Hey guys, I'm asking this question a few chapters early for you guys since I'm a bit ahead of you all right now, but this is one of those things that I can't really wait for you all to catch up before voting. So I'll just put it up now.

I’m trying to get some opinions on what jobs sound interesting to you guys.

I'm not making any promises. All these suggestions are things that I think would go well with the story so it shouldn't matter which one I use, but if I start writing one and it comes out lame I reserve the right to change things!

So I may not use the top vote, but I am curious which one sounds the most interesting to read about to you guys. Feel free to pick multiple if there's more than one that you'd be excited to read. While Carter might not get your top pick, maybe Sakura, Bridget, or someone else will.

Feel free to add your own ideas in the comments below and I will consider them, though they won't be part of this poll.

Formation Master intrigues me the most. The rest, aside from Priest and Oracle, I think would be better for Carter's harem to pick up. I don't think "Priest" would fit the atmosphere set here so far. Oracle also wouldn't fit as I see that clashing with the curse Carter now has. I think Enchanter or Golem Crafter would compliment Sakura's weapon buff ability well.

I'm a bit torn. I kind of want to pick Priest since it might help with his curse, and the hint of interesting ways to worship if you follow a god of the lewd is tempting. While Artificer seems like it could do a bit of what Enchanter and Golem Crafter do, along with some other interesting things. Plus he already has the mechanical master title to get him started. Not too excited by Alchemist and Enchanter as we saw plenty of that in Spellheart. Formations wasn't much touched on though, so that might be interesting too. I'll go ahead and vote Artificer since it's looks the most interesting. Even if he doesn't take it, I'm sure one of his girls will. Oracle and Priest might lead to him being led around by higher powers, which readers of the genre tend to hate in male leads. Enchanter is a solid choice too, since he'll want to make a weapon if he's going the spellsword route. I can see all these jobs appearing in his harem and friends though.

I take it the Job system will be separate from the Class system (like a profession)? In that case Artficer seems to be the one that is the best out of the choices there. A Chef, hunter,farmer or other food/shelter should be on the list for someone to pick up. I think Golem Master is a bit early for that but might be a good artificer job upgrade.

Yeah, jobs are separate. The non magic jobs also exist, but are less awesome and cost less, so I didn’t bother offering them up for vote.

I always thought runic magic was pretty cool. Maybe as a profession it could be something along the lines of single use talismans using runes to cast different spells and whatnot?

I always liked the idea of a Shaman job that allows you to contact spirits for a number of uses. Like the dark opposite of a priest or curse breaker. Adding or removing hexes, communing for dark secrets, history lessons.
