Image 1 is from Spellheart, one of the Hearthwood's most popular magazines that's rapidly growing in popularity all across Deania! In this first issue, notable Matriarch Sava Greenstem shares her secrets with readers everywhere! Get a leg up on your rivals by buying now!

Only 10 Macmarks per copy!

Image 2 is a nervous Tivana, as she is likely to appear shortly after the events of book 7.

Author's Note:

Work continues on Paladin of the Shield. I'm working on chapter 12 now. I was going to stop and edit so I could start posting but I kinda... just didn't. So I can't post anything more yet!

I'll be working on Amazon Apocalypse more this weekend, so we'll hopefully get over that cliff we left off on soon.

In other news, did you guys like the magazine cover? Having the image drawn was actually pretty cheap and I could do the text myself in photoshop, so I'd be open to making more. If you have any good magazine cover ideas let me know in the comments below!

I think there should be a beauty contest between all the matriarchs in the next magazine to see who has the best body... Coffee a hem... I mean is the most beautiful and sublime creatures alive

It's not bad. I'm not sure Theo would approve of the "kidnap your dream man" bit though~ I'm glad we at least got a visual on what happens with her after book 7, even if we didn't get the scene. Seeing Tivana's ears, does human blood have that strong an influence? Would all Theo's daughters have humanish ears then rather than the elf ears of their mom's? If so I'm going to need to adjust my image of them a bit when the next book eventually comes out.

Tbh I have a lot of trouble getting artists to draw partially elvish ears. They can draw elf ears and they can draw human ears. They can't draw something in between.

DiabolicalGenius

Yeah, in most fantasy they tend to distinguish more by ear length since it's easier. IE, elves have pointed ears that are long, maybe twice the length of a human's. While half-elves have pointed ears, but which are otherwise the same length as a humans. The angle too, elf ears sweeping out so they are aligned with the jawline, while half-elves are like human ears and just go up the side of the head. Trying to make them somehow more pointed than human but less than elf is bit too to hard to visualise after all.

I loved spell heart but since it seems to be over I guess that I'll be leaving now

Sorry to see you go! There won’t be any new Spellheart content until next year. I’m focusing on the Paladin series and new IP’s.
