Worth noting that India 🇮🇳 (another Asian giant) has just signed a deal with Malaysia that involves trading in Rupees instead of USD. This is only the beginning, as at least 15 other countries (including Russia, Germany, etc.) have opened a “Vostro” account in India that allows them to trade in Rupees. This clearly poses a threat to the USD hegemony, to say the least.
