[What's Happening] Goodbye 2023 (Patreon)

Citrine's got a thing about fire lately, huh?

SO 2023 was a big mess. The first half was a hell on it's own and the second half became a game of catchup which resulted in a particularly brutal burnout.

Almost everything intended for 2023 didn't happen but.... I also kind of feel it was a blessing in disguise in a way. I was already spread thin and my "plans" would have made it significantly worse.

This year I do have some "plans" but I'm not going to say them out loud, I refuse to tempt fate again.
I AM going to change a few things around though:

Sock selling is job 1
Furry art is job 2
Patreon is my house.

I just fear I have a horrendous consistency problem here and that's led to a constant bleed-out of Patrons. WHICH IS OK. For the most part people ARE here to buy a product. People will join for X and leave when they don't get enough X or see too much Y. Very normal and understandable! It just doesn't leave all that much room for someone who wants to stick their hands in wayyyy too many things all the time.  I DO know there are many here who really want to see ALL THOSE THINGS! 

So after a lot of thought and I mean a LOT... I'm giving up that desire for consistency on my Patreon, save for the stickers and thank you cards. I'll keep putting out stuff. It's going to be whatever I'm working on. Some things I won't even bother posting publicly because it's private or going to be used for a project. Some stuff may even surprise a few of you who decide to stick around!

Actually on that note I ended up designing some all-over-print hoodies in secret. I plan on showing them off in January among other things. I might MIGHT start doing secret all-over-print hoodie commissions later because the company I found impressed me with their print quality, I just want to wait and see how durable they are first before I start offering anything.

But yeah, my Patreon's just gonna be "my house" if you wanna stay you can stay, if you don't wanna stay, that's cool too! There's stuff I want to get into. Stuff I wanted to do last year but couldn't for various reasons. Actually I ended up forcing myself to "get ahead" and already finished several things to post for January so I could dedicate January to putting a new skill under my belt.

And for those waiting for Sheena content ((((((i got stuck on her reference picture and keep redoing it over and over)))))) but I THINK she's almost done. Although, I will NOT be making her a SubscribeStar after all!!!! BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO COMMIT TO ANOTHER MONTHLY AAAA!!! I'm already spread too thin! Instead, you can just keep an eye out for her on FA for the dirtier stuff, YCHs, and also sometimes here when the content is clean. Sometimes I just wanna put her in a cool outfit in a casual setting ya know???

I have a cautious optimism for 2024.
There's some things that I need to fix, but I'm figuring things out slowly.
2023 wasn't a total bust because I learned a lot!

(TL;DR 2023 was hard. My Patreon is becoming a place of experimentation and secret things for Patron eyes only. There will still be monthly mail-out stickers and thank you cards!!
