[Announcement] Moving Forward! (Patreon)

2022 is over already and I feel like I've been caught with my pants down!
It's a good thing Citrine wyvern has no pants.

Before I get into it, I feel I must apologize. There hasn't been near as much content on here as I wanted. This year has been a rough one. I don't like to get into details or specifics of whats going on because it really isn't anyone's problem but my own. I CAN say that I am slowly picking up the pieces, but I'm not going to say EVERYTHING'S FINE just yet either, but things are being handled as best as I can.

I'll be separating each topic into sections to make it easier to read.

STORE REBRANDING:
I need a new name for my store. I recently got a kind review from a grandmother who's grandkids loved the socks. I DO NOT want this poor woman to try to search Melangetic and find my suggestive furry stuff. I also know brands need consistency so this will help with that. I have a new name in mind, I'm just futzing with the details of it all still.

SHEENA STUFF:
I KNOW YOU WANT SHEENA AND IM SORRY!! I've been so so very very late on the Daki AND the new "place" for Sheena. Daki's require higher resolution that this computer might not be able to handle. I've recently gotten some new tools that should remedy this problem. I haven't had the chance to test them though. As for the place, I am starting to think I really DON'T want to paywall this. Or at least not in the way I originally planned. The thing about making a new monthly fee place is... that's more monthly obligations that I can't entirely guarantee. Maybe instead I just leave her on FA or perhaps give her her own gallery somewhere else? BUT I MEAN IT, I do want to give you more of her one way or another. OH ALSO Thank Coldsy and Ohad Kanne specifically for the Daki still being on my mind. THEY HAVE BEEN PROMISED!!!!!

VIDEOGAMES WITH SUSHI:
You may or may not know of my pal Sushi who likes to practice gamedev stuff. I want to do more of this so badly, it's really amazing. I wanted to do this last year but somehow I never had the time which was heartbreaking. Maybe we can make something really cool later, but right now I mostly want to just play around. I'll show you the fruits of our labors on Patreon in the future!!

MERCH COLLECTIONS:
This might be obvious but I super love making merch things. I've gotten a bit absorbed in it all, but I really really want to like.... make big themed collections sometime. The idea is so exciting and gets me all hyped up. I have lots of ideas but have yet to really DO EM! Again, these are things I'll share on Patreon in secret as I work on them!

UNPUBLISHED PATREON TIERS:
I feel SO guilty for not doing all the cool things I wanted to do for Complete Breakfast Socks that I decided to make the tier inaccessible. This means nobody new can access these tiers. ALSO to current Complete Breakfast Patrons! I'm going to make a special announcement just for you soon, so keep an eye out!!

MONTHLY SUGGESTION REMOVAL:
For the record, this is nobody's fault. JUST IN CASE people feel guilty, it is mainly an issue of my own. Even if the suggestion is amazing, sometimes it's just not something I want to draw IN THE MOMENT. Sometimes that moment lasts the whole month. There's also the issue of the poll ending up later in the month, so what happens is it's in the back of my head.... until the last minute. I'll still offer polls, kind of like I do with my side polls already.

PATREON CARD REMOVAL:
I'll lay this one out simple- the company that does my cards for me went up in price and the shipping on top of that makes this pretty expensive monthly for a small add, which is even harder to deal with as more Patrons disappear. I think instead, I'll do occasional SURPRISE mini prints for EVERYONE(who gets mail benefits) every 3-4 months. You won't know they're coming until you get it in the mail!

BUT WHY:
The main reason for all these changes(painful painful changes) is that last year, I learned my time management is completely horrible STILL. I hope I can remedy this with these adjustments. Really, I was considering simply closing my Patreon but the main reason I decided that was a bad ideas was, as a Patron of OTHER artists/creators, I really like supporting work I like while also having really easy access to the content I like! I think a lot of you feel the same way, from what some of you kind folks have told me. Oh and also I really love sending out stickers every month. I'm not sure why it makes me so happy but it does. You definitely won't have to worry about that disappearing.
I also like to show like SECRET THINGS too. Those seemingly random sketches up there are going to be pins! I want to show you my secret silly stuff as I make it because it's so exciting to me and I want to share that excitement.

I think that all covers it!
IF THIS MAKES YOU WANT TO CANCEL that is 100% ok and my feelings will NOT be hurt! There are always other ways to support if you still want to. I know I'm downsizing pretty dramatically, but my attention is spread and I'm trying to work with it the best I can, doing the most things at once.
