Overgrown Mesoamerican Tomb (34x22) (Patreon)

Good morning! Here's something a little bit more crypt-like, if you thought the graveyard month was missing out on the underground. There's also above-ground variants, too, of course.

This week's map is slightly inspired by the Mesoamerican market I did a couple weeks ago, though I'm not sure it's obviously central-american enough to justify the label. Whether that's a good thing or not might differ by the individual, but in any case, there's some cool stone patterns and a really nice set of fountains, and a sarcophagus placed in the ominous focus of the underground light.

Variants

• Supporter: The Supporter-tier variants this week are the overgrown tomb with running fountains as well as one without running fountains, in case you're a stickler for realistic settings and recognize that abandoned thousand-year-old tombs would be lucky to have an intact roof, let alone water pressure. It also comes with a couple of sets of magic circles around the coffin, if you're reawakening a monster or fallen hero.
• Enthusiast: The Enthusiast tier gets the Courtyard map, a complete redraw of most of the upper map area to set it near the surface! This comes in day and night variants, and is also paired with a blue crystal tree version of the vault.
• Benefactor: The Benefactor tier package comes with two sets of maps with a golden and stone idol blocking the lower entrance respectively; there's also a version where I tore out the entire walkway around the fountain and replaced it with a pool, and a purple people-eating version of that pool. People-eating is optional, but guaranteed to get a song stuck in your head. Finally, there's a swirly portal variant with a pedestal instead of a coffin, and an off version for that, plus a set of less mossy and more ... brown ... tomb maps, in case you're allergic to moss.

Notes

One of my friends claims the map looks like SHODAN's face. Does anyone else feel the same? I can kinda see it.
